Nancy Foreman Kaufman ’71, ’83 Earns the UW Nursing Alumni Organization’s Distinguished Alumni Award

Nancy Foreman Kaufman received the UW Nursing Alumni Organization’s Distinguished Alumni Award at a homecoming ceremony. She was honored for her career in public health policy change in Wisconsin, nationally and globally, and service to the university. Nancy chairs the Board of Visitors for the School of Nursing and the School of Medicine & Public Health’s External Community Grant Review Committee. She is also a member of SMPH’s Dissemination and Implementation Advisory Committee. Nancy devotes many hours to mentoring UW nursing students. Nancy retired as Vice President, Programs of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. She is Principal of the consulting firm The Strategic Vision Group, LLC.
