Luke Zahm, University of Madison Alumni 2003, was nominated for James Beard Award in 2017. Luke Zahm, and his wife Ruthie Zahm (University of Wisconsin Madison alumni 2002) own The Driftless Cafe in Viroqua, WI.
Luke was among the seven chefs nominated for Best Chef Midwest. They are the first restaurant between Minneapolis and Madison to receive a nomination.
