John Timm MA’72, PhD’73 Update

In 2010, John Timm MA’72, PhD’73 retired from a 37-year career in radio broadcasting management, station ownership, and consulting. In 2011, Arizona Christian University invited him to join their faculty to teach Spanish and communications, marking his return to the classroom for the first time since the 1970s. His second retirement came at the end of the spring 2019 semester. John continues to write and is currently working on English translations of the poetry of the late Afro-Brazilian poet Adão Ventura, who was a colleague at the University of New Mexico.
