Darcey Nett ’03 promoted to HealthX Partner

HealthX Ventures is pleased to announce the promotion of Darcey Nett to partner. Darcey has been part of the HealthX ecosystem for nearly a decade, bringing a rare combination of operator, portfolio, and investor experience to the firm. She currently leads HealthX’s fundraising efforts and supports the firm’s work across investments, portfolio growth, and investor relations.

Before joining HealthX, Darcey built, scaled, and exited an in-home care business; spent more than nine years in health care sales at Pfizer; and served as CEO of two HealthX portfolio companies, where she helped raise approximately $20 million in capital. That background has given her a firsthand understanding of the realities founders face, as well as the expectations and priorities of investors.“Darcey has a unique ability to understand both sides of the table,” said Mark Bakken, founder and managing partner of HealthX Ventures. “She has operated inside health care companies, raised capital, built relationships with health systems and strategic partners, and supported our portfolio with the practical insight that only comes from experience. Her promotion reflects the significant role she plays in HealthX’s next chapter.”

“My experiences as an operator, founder, portfolio executive, and investor have shaped how I support both founders and LPs,” said Darcey. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue building on that work in this new role and to help HealthX partner with practical, capital-efficient teams building durable health care businesses.”

Darcey is based in Madison, Wisconsin.
