Jen Olson ’07 Appointed Minnesota State Court Judge

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz recently appointed Jen Olson ’07, to be a state court judge in Hennepin County, Minnesota. In a press release announcing her appointment, Governor Walz said, “Jennifer Olson is going to be a remarkable addition to an already talented bench. She has the unique ability to distill highly complex legal theories into clear and understandable arguments. The people of Hennepin County will be well served by her strong legal acumen and deep commitment to equal justice under the law.” Olson is chambered in Minneapolis.

Dr. Jim Sernoe BA’86, MA’89 has been promoted to full professor at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was also honored with his 30-year service pin this spring.
