Jay Peterson of Austin, Texas, Has Retired
After 40 years working in high tech — including three decades as a public company CFO for three different tech companies in Austin, Texas — Jay Peterson ’79 has retired. During his time as CFO, he raised more than $600 million in capital. The capstone of his career was a successful IPO and a trip to the bell-ringing ceremony on the New York Stock Exchange. Jay is now shifting gears and has started a vintage car parts business.
