Deanna Hoehn McBroom ’73 (1951–2025)

Deanna H. McBroom died suddenly and unexpectedly on April 26. Ordained by Providence, Rev. McBroom served our community in countless ways, including as a founding member, as minister of music, and this year, as our church moderator.

One of the best gifts you can give to grieving family members is your cherished memory of Deanna. Please submit them online at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeA-CoXFlKhRwblsmVPQ-XEpIWcjIGvMp6JXEC5qAoImlktng/viewform, or if longer than a single paragraph, they may be emailed to memory@providencecharleston.org. These memories, stories, and thoughts will be compiled, printed, and shared with family and anyone who requests them.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Deanna’s memory. Details can be found using the link below. The McBroom family will determine the specific purpose of memorial contributions in service to the mission of Providence Church.
