Victor Field ’53, MBA’56 Passes Away

Victor H. Field, longtime resident of Glenview, died on June 15, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Joanne. Loving father of Laurie (Tony). Proud grandfather of Emma, Holden, and Abby. Victor was born in Millston, Wisconsin. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from the University of Wisconsin. Victor was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He spent his entire career with the A.C. Nielsen Company in Northbrook, retiring as vice president of human resources. In retirement, he did taxes for seniors through AARP and was on the board at The Vi retirement community for the Bright Futures Scholarship fund. He was a certified financial planner and had an avid interest in investments and the stock market. He also loved dogs and enjoyed walking in his neighborhood community.
A memorial service was held Monday, July 20, 2026.
