Sharp Corporation Appoints Doug Albregts as President and CEO of Sharp
- Nov. 09, 2016
The former bass player of Madison’s own Actual Sighs, Doug Albregts ’89, has been named President and CEO of Sharp Corporation. Doug has had a long career in the business-to-business techonology sector, having previously worked for both NEC and Samsung and is credited with transforming business practices and encouraging a relationship-driven, results-oriented approach. As a Badger alumnus and parent to a current UW sophomore, Doug would prefer to spend his afternoons sipping beers on Union Terrace, but he happily spreads the Badger gospel throughout the East Coast. Lisa Martiny Albregts ’90, his duly proud wife, shares this news from Mountain Lakes, New Jersey.
