Luis Valdez-Jimenez wins Hartford Business Journal Corporate Volunteer of the Year Award

Luis A. Valdez-Jimenez, J.D. ’15, M.B.A ’15, was awarded the prestigious “Corporate Volunteer of the Year” award issued by the Hartford Business Journal. Valdez-Jimenez, who is a Contract Manager at Pratt & Whitney based in Connecticut, was recognized for his non-profit board of directors and community leadership as part of the Hartford Business Journal’s second annual Community Excellence and Nonprofit Awards ceremony.
“Volunteering is not just a way to benefit the community, it’s a way for the community to benefit you. It brings happiness. A sense of well-being. I’m doing my part. It brings a sense of fulfillment.”
Previously Valdez-Jimenez was recognized by the Hartford Business Journal as part of its 2018 “40 Under 40” Class and by Connecticut Magazine’s 2019 “40 Under 40” Class.
