Letitia Stumbo Bowman ’62 died peacefully after a short illness in Anchorage, Alaska, on Thursday, June 4, 2026. She was 86 years old. Alaska had been her home since shortly after graduation from the University of Wisconsin (BA, English) in 1961. Tish was predeceased by her husband, Howard Bowman. She is survived by her brother, Don Stumbo, and many loving nieces and nephews, as well as her artwork — oil paintings, woodcut, and silkscreen prints.
