State Bar of Arizona’s 2020 Member of the Year Award: Greg Gautam

Greg Gautam was selected by the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Arizona as the State Bar of Arizona’s 2020 Member of the Year Award.

Established in 1991, the Member of the Year Award is presented to that attorney(s) who has rendered extraordinary contributions to the programs and activities of the State Bar in the prior year. Hundreds, even thousands, of the Bar’s members contribute their time and talent to the work of the Bar, but this award is limited to that individual(s) whose contributions are exceptional.

Gautam has an unwavering belief in helping people from all walks of life. The practice of law has inspired him to challenge the status quo and to use his position, education, and resources to serve and improve the community in which he lives and works. He strives to recognize and foster the hard work of underrepresented groups (including people of color and individuals who identify as LGBTQ+) in the law and to help spread the message and practice of inclusivity, particularly in the large law firm setting.
