Bill Steffen ’74 (mostly) retires and gets a couple of significant awards

As of December 30, 2024, I have fully retired from doing television weather for  more than 50 years. I have started doing vlogs, and I have a website to talk about all things weather and beyond at www.billsteffen.com In 2024, the readers of Grand Rapids Magazine voted me “Best Meteorologist” for the 10th year in a row, and I just received a special award from the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers for 37 years of working with Math Counts. I also was a supervisor of the Science Olympiad for over 30 years.
