William M. Tuttle, Jr. Receives Honorary Doctoral Degree

Bill Tuttle (M.A 1964; Ph.D. 1967) was awarded an honorary degree (Doctor of Humane Letters) from his alma mater, Denison University on May 19, 2018.
He was recognized for his “seminal work” in African American and recent American history, and for being “a pioneer in [writing] history from the bottom up.”
Bill is professor emeritus of American Studies at the University of Kansas.
