We asked Badgers what they enjoyed doing on campus during the summer, and here's what they said, published verbatim.
Hanging at the Union, sitting on the pier, and making new friends. It was like living at a resort that summer.

Just being there in the summer was amazing! Concerts on the Square, the farmers' market, concerts on the Memorial Union Terrace. One in particular comes to mind. We were all sitting and watching the concert when lightning in the sky started giving us an amazing show from across the lake … it was so memorable!

The Summer of 1987 was a steamy one. We'd go to class in the morning, study inside of Memorial Library midday (relishing the A/C), and then we would get our Walgreens-purchased floats and head to Lake Mendota, where we'd connect with our new floating friends. Not a single photo, but my very fond memory of this is very vivid!
