The Rose Bowl was first served in 1989 when State Street Brats (previously known as the Brathaus) came under new ownership. The new management created the Rose Bowl as a drink special unique to their bar and named it after the annual college bowl game.The ingredients in a Rose Bowl are a coveted State Street Brats secret; however, one bartender did reveal that it contains Southern Comfort, four different liqueurs and two fruit juices.
