About the Program

Enjoy a special presentation:

AI in the Music and Podcasting Industries

Jeremy Morris will share insights from his ongoing projects looking at the impact of various AI technologies on the music and podcasting industries. He will give an overview of some headline-grabbing technologies and discuss how and why creative content producers make decisions about whether to use these new technologies — and if so, when and to what ends. Morris will also talk about how the economics of music distribution on platforms like Spotify or Apple creates difficult and contradictory environments for musicians and podcasters looking to build sustainable careers.
