Working to Grow Our UW–Madison Campus
- Feb. 04, 2025
In early 2025, I [Ben Schmidt MBA’12] joined the Real Estate Development and Administration team for UW–Madison, moving to a campus-related role after nearly two decades in the private sector. I’ll be working in this role on behalf of our beloved UW–Madison campus, playing a key part in overseeing real estate transactions, negotiating property agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and policy standards for development and use of space on campus, and working to implement strategic growth initiatives for the UW–Madison campus so we can continue meeting the ever-evolving demands that go along with being a Big Ten university and renowned research institution. On, Wisconsin!
