Government of Japan confers The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon: Jerry (Jake) Jacobson

The Government of Japan has decided to confer decorations on 149 foreign nationals on November 3, 2017. Included in this list is UW alumni Jerry L. Jacobson, CAPT, USN(Ret.). As noted in the press release, CAPT Jacobson was granted this award by having “Contributed to promoting friendly relations and mutual understanding between Japan and the United States.”
