Jane Buchanan Beckering JD’90 Appointed to Federal Bench

After serving 14 years on the Michigan Court of Appeals, Hon. Jane M. (Buchanan) Beckering, from the Class of 1990, was appointed to the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan. Nominated by President Joe Biden and confirmed by the Senate, she took the bench on December 24, 2021.
