Harry R. Hertel JD’76’s Practice Comes to an End After 49+ Years

Effective December 31, 2025, Hertel Law S.C. closed its practice. Helping thousands of injured persons and people accused of breaking the law came to an end. Two former partners now serve as judges, and Harry R. Hertel JD’76 felt satisfied with the track record of helping those in need. Having served as president of the Wisconsin of Criminal Defense Attorneys and on the board of directors of the Wisconsin Association for Justice, he made statewide connections and friendships. “I’ll miss the practice, but look forward to spending time with my four kids, nine grandkid, and many friends — not to mention attending Minnesota Wild hockey games with family and friends.”
