Carl “Duke” Iverson, 80. Longtime Western Colorado University football coach and professor passed away on Feb 11, 2021 at his home in Monmouth, OR. He is survived by his wife Rita, sister, 3 daughters, stepson, 10 grandchildren, niece & nephew. A private service was held for the family in Oregon and a Celebration of Life will be held in Gunnison, CO and Monmouth, OR. Western State Colorado University and Western Oregon University plan to establish a Duke Iverson Scholarship Fund.
