Alon Stein JD’02 Elected as a Judge for the Circuit Court of Cook County in Chicago

On November 5, 2024, Alon Stein JD’02 was elected as a judge with the Circuit Court of Cook County. He was sworn in on December 2, 2024.
Alon Stein is a 2002 graduate of UW Law School, where he was a managing editor of The Wisconsin Law Review. Prior to his election as a judge, he was a trial attorney for 22 years in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Arizona, and he also argued before the Supreme Courts of Wisconsin and Indiana.
