We asked Badgers on social media 'What's your all-time favorite Badger sports moment' Here are some of their answers!
Seeing in person Ron Dayne & the WI Badgers football team win the 2000 Rose Bowl in Pasadena!! It was so much fun with family! Loved every minute of the game & the Rose Bowl Parade!

2000 NCAA Tournament... Wisconsin vs Purdue in the Regional Final... I was watching the game at State Street Brats. During the last minute of the game, I worked my way to the patio. When the game ended, I jumped the rail and watched in amazement as State Street filled with people celebrating Wisconsin making the Final Four!
George P.
The 1990 Men’s Hockey National Championship game in Detroit. Bucky soundly defeated the Colgate squad. A season of dominance and very good hockey.
Tom B.
1993. Wisconsin vs. Michigan State in Tokyo for the Big Ten championship. They win 41-20. I stayed up to watch it, then, as they finished off the Spartans, I did my best Red Auerbach and lit a cigar. That one was sweet!

2015 NCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship games, and Nigel at the press conferences, and Frank riding the scooter with Bucky.

Melvin Gordon ran for 408 yards in 3 quarters to break the single-game rushing record. For a week.

October 2010 night game against OSU. I've never been to an athletic event. When Gilreath returned the opening K/O for a TD, the whole place just erupted!
John D.
Being at both Rose Bowls that we won back-to-back in 1999 and 2000! And beating #1 Ohio State in Madison with our OSU friends in 2010!

Volleyball's upset of then-No. 6 Penn State in 2011, my senior year. I worked in the athletic communications department that season, helping cover the team. The Field House faithful are incredible, win or lose, but Badger fans brought the energy big time that day. Some students even stormed the court after the win! I knew then something good was brewing in the volleyball program, and I’m so glad to have been proven right. Wisconsin is a volleyball school.

Oct 23, 1982. FB vs Illinois. Randy Wright bounced a pass to Al Toon, to a sprinting Jeff Nault, who took it to the House. (Unfortunately, we then couldn't hold the lead and lost!)
John G.
The comeback win vs Minnesota to keep the axe in 2005.
Ian B.
The 2006 Hockey Men’s Natty in person at the Bradley Center, 18k strong, all red.

Going to a road game vs the University of Illinois in a season we were headed to the Rose Bowl, and it was like everyone was best friends, even if you never met before, and even the Illinois students, after losing the game, wished us well. It was such a fun time.
Amy S.
Jack Skille 3 OT winner vs Cornell.

September 3, 2016 Upset of #5 LSU at Lambeau!

The 2025 women’s hockey championship game. Simms was incredible.

Being in the stands for homecoming in 1998 when Fletcher picked off Drew Brees & took it to the house towards the end of the 3rd quarter. Then, a few minutes later, the "Jump Around" tradition was born.
