Glen Broderick Receives Honorary Doctorate

Glen Broderick ’67, MS’70, PhD’72 retired from his joint appointment in UW-Madison’s Dairy Science Department and the USDA Dairy Forage Research Center in 2013, but his expertise in ruminant nitrogen metabolism continues to be sought around the globe under the auspices of his consulting company, Broderick Nutrition and Research.
Most recently, in recognition of nearly two decades of collaborative work with researchers in Sweden, he has been awarded an honorary doctorate by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science at Sverige Lantbruksuniversitat. The ceremonial banquet took place in October 2016 in the 16th century royal castle in Uppsala, Sweden.
