Brenda Mizenko JBA ’96 selected to serve on the 2020-2021 South Dakota Math/Science Leadership Cohort

Brenda Mizenko was selected for the 2020-2021 South Dakota Math and Science Leadership Cohort. This a selective and competitive leadership program sponsored by the South Dakota Department of Education. She will work with other teachers statewide to establish more STEM opportunities throughout South Dakota, look at different research based practices, explore challenges and opportunities in K-12 STEM education, and work on other projects as well. Brenda’s background is in elementary science and currently teaches 4th grade in Rapid City, SD.
