Phil Neuman Named National Apartment Association Advocate of the Year

Phil Neuman ’80, JD ‘83 was recently named the Malcolm N. Bennett Advocate of the Year by the National Apartment Association at its Assembly of Delegates meeting in Atlanta. Neuman, a shareholder at the Farmington Hills, Michigan law firm Couzens Lansky, was awarded the honor after more than three decades advocating for the rental housing industry. Neuman has served as the chair of the Detroit Metropolitan Apartment Association’s Legislative Committee and has served on the National Apartment Association’s Legislative Committee since 2013.
