Wauwatosa-born Helen Finnegan La Rue, BA ’46 and JD ’49, longtime resident of Park Ridge, Ill., passed away peacefully July 3, 2017, in her home with her beloved Badger husband, Paul H., of 71 years, by her side. Loving mother of Paul H., Jr. (Nancy), Patricia (John) Fell and Mary (Dr. Daniel E.) Hogan. Devoted grandmother of fellow Badger Kathryn Hogan (Josh) Berger, Dr. Daniel E. (Yolande) Hogan, Jr., Dr. Madeleine La Rue (Dr. Matt) Alvin, Michelle La Rue, and Michael La Rue. Dear step-grandmother of Dr. Megan (Jason) Lynch and Tom Fell. Proud and loving great-grandmother of Henry Michael Berger. Dearest sister of Margaret Mirenda. Fond sister-in-law of Roger (Gloria) La Rue.
