Northeast Wilderness Trust (NEWT) hired Bob Linck as conservation director in mid-February. Bob has had a 41-year conservation career, including the Vermont Land Trust from 2002 to 2021. NEWT is the only land trust in the Northeast that focuses on forever-wild forestland conservation, securing the old-growth forests of tomorrow to protect biodiversity, sequester carbon, and enhance resilience to climate change.
