She currently works as a manager of patient access for the Erie Family Health Centers in Chicago, IL. Recently she won the Woman of the Year 2021 Award for the First Immanuel Lutheran Church of Chicago for all her hard work and dedication.
Her words of advice for current scholars? “Use your resources! Wisconsin has a huge student and alumni network- the PEOPLE program alum network was definitely an asset that I underutilized so don’t hesitate to reach out to someone that may be in your field of study or something completely different. I’m sure they would be able to connect you with a fellow Badger!” If you’re interested in connecting with Rebeca reach out to her via LinkedIn.
