Join Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association (WFAA) president and CEO Alisa Robertson ’94, MBA’03 in Boston to connect with the Badger community and explore how we can come together to advance UW–Madison today and into the future.
This event will bring together alumni, friends, and supporters to explore how we can strengthen the university during this pivotal time for higher education. You’ll hear directly from Alisa about WFAA’s role in advancing UW-Madison, network with fellow Badgers, and learn practical ways to advocate and stay informed to help ensure UW’s long-term success.
The evening will feature a fireside chat between Robertson and Sarah Schutt, executive director and chief alumni officer of the Wisconsin Alumni Association. Audience members can participate and ask questions.

Speakers
Alisa Robertson ’94, MBA’03 is president and CEO of the Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association, a role she assumed on January 1, 2025. Previously, she served as the organization’s president and chief advancement officer, and she has more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and stakeholder engagement. She joined WFAA as chief of staff in 2011 and became president in 2022. During her tenure, Robertson led the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s $4.2 billion All Ways Forward comprehensive campaign and has been instrumental in advancing key initiatives that elevate donor engagement and support for the university. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Robertson has also served as associate dean for external relations at the Wisconsin School of Business, where she led marketing, alumni relations, and annual giving.
Sarah Schutt joined the Wisconsin Alumni Association (WAA) in August 2001, initially as the director of alumni lifelong learning. Between April 2009 and December 2010, she worked at the UW’s Division of Continuing Studies before returning to WAA. Though she received her bachelor’s degree (in Japanese language and history) from the University of Iowa and her master’s degree (in counseling and student development) from Mankato State, she’s been part of the UW campus since 1994, when she worked in UW Housing as a residence life coordinator and then in the School of Education. She became executive director of WAA in 2017.
Parking
The State Room does not own or operate parking facilities. However, convenient parking is available in the building’s garage or directly across the street at 75 State Street. Both are managed by LAZ Parking.
For those using public transportation, the venue is easily accessible via the Blue and Orange MBTA lines.
