Wisconsin Alumni Association: Seattle Chapter

Welcome to the Seattle Chapter of the Wisconsin Alumni Association, where the future is bright! We have lots up our sleeves to keep the spirit thriving.

Our mission is to be an all-inclusive organization that promotes relationships that further bind our affiliation with the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Inherent in this endeavor is the spirit of fun that permeates throughout our accomplishments.

To achieve community awareness and regular communications, we consistently do two things well over the years:

* High visibility through personal networking, and
* our Badger Hotline, which allows alumni to call for the latest club happenings twenty-four hours a day.

Personal networking has supported our philosophy of being a welcoming, all-inclusive organization. Our large bank of volunteers, all wearing red and white, are our best ambassadors for recruiting new faces. Stories abound within our group of encounters with new Badgers on ferries, bike trails, record stores, jogging paths, grocery stores, and more. With each encounter, a card is exchanged, giving our new Badger friends necessary information to contact our local hotline. New friends are immediately added to our local mailing list, and are then personally invited to attend a potluck board meeting.

Our board meetings occur about six times a year. Leave a message on our hotline, or contact a board member to have an invitation mailed to you.
