|“Head Injuries in Sports” Panel Discussion
Join Badger team physician Dr. Greg Landry and area alumni for a panel discussion about the current research on concussions from team sports and what can be done to protect athletes. Our panelists include former Badger athletes, Dr. Landry and other experts in the field of sports-related concussions.
Registration deadline is Thursday, April 24, 2014.

About the Speaker
Dr. Greg Landry
Team Physician, University of Wisconsin Athletic Teams; Medical Director, University of Wisconsin Athletic Training Education Program; Editorial Boards, Physician and Sports Medicine, Current Sports Medicine Reports
Dr. Landry specializes in primary-care sports medicine and serves as a team physician for the University of Wisconsin Athletic Department. In this role, he provides medical coverage for men’s ice hockey, men’s and women’s swimming, softball, men’s and women’s golf, and the Spirit Squad. His special interests are medical problems in athletes including concussions, as well as weight control in athletes.
He will lead a panel discussion about the current research on concussions from team sports and what can be done to protect athletes. The panelists include former Badger athletes, Dr. Landry and other experts in the field of sports-related concussions.
