The Wisconsin Alumni Association® (WAA) brings you the 13th annual Grandparents University® (GPU), where you can live the Badger experience firsthand! During this award-winning, two-day program, you’ll have a chance to explore a “major” while participating in hands-on activities led by top UW faculty and staff. It’s a great way to share your love of learning with your grandchild while creating unforgettable memories.

Grandparents University 2013 Dates:

Session I: Thursday and Friday, July 11–12
Session II: Thursday and Friday, July 18–19
Session III: Thursday and Friday, July 25–26

Started on the UW-Madison campus in July 2001, the Wisconsin Alumni Association offers Grandparents University each summer. This award-winning, two-day workshop is a chance for children (ages 7 to 14) and their grandparents to come together and learn from each other in a dynamic atmosphere on the UW campus. What better way for grandparents and grandchildren to spend time together than sharing stories, reliving and creating memories, and earning a degree together from UW-Madison?

Grandparents University® is a registered trademark, with the program having originated on the campus of UW-Madison in July, 2001. We are proud that as many as sixteen other institutions across the country and in Canada now offer their own version of Grandparents University®.
