Badger Insider is an exclusive publication for members of WAA, featuring your campus memories, the UW’s rich history, and points of UW-Madison pride. Each issue captures the Badger experience, with stories and photos contributed by UW alumni themselves.

Badger Insider highlights the lives and experiences of UW-Madison grads and students, and of WAA members around the world. In each issue, you’ll find:

  • Shared Memories — Badger Insider is all about alumni, and your stories and photos are a big part of every issue. Share tales of collegiate glory, and find updates from old friends.
  • Alumni in Action — The lives of Badger grads are full of unique adventures. See how other alumni are using the education they received in the most unusual ways.
  • Campus Confidential — Take a behind-the-scenes look at the campus you thought you knew. Badger Insider gets the inside scoop on your favorite traditions and old haunts.
  • And the latest outfits for Flat Bucky’s Wardrobe, as well as photos tracing his world travels.

In addition, each issue of Badger Insider details upcoming WAA events and lifelong learning opportunities, and each gives recognition to WAA Super Members.

The only way to receive Badger Insider, Flat Bucky, and other exclusive benefits is by joining the Wisconsin Alumni Association. All UW-Madison alumni and friends are welcome.

Celebrate
Founders' Day 2012: The Wisconsin Idea
This spring, reconnect with Badgers in your area as we commemorate the early days of UW-Madison. Join fellow alumni at Founders’ Day events across the United States and around the world to dine, mingle and hear from prominent UW faculty how teaching, research and public service affects families, communities and businesses beyond campus. Find festivities in your area, and honor UW-Madison’s world-class education, cutting-edge research and the 100-year-old Wisconsin Idea.

At February’s Campus Founders’ Day, Badger alumni and friends dug into delicious cake and a lively discussion about the Wisconsin Idea. Find out, as they did, what makes the UW so special, and see how students celebrated UW-Madison’s birthday across campus.

Test Your Knowledge:

The first UW alumni chapter to form overseas got together in 1907. Where did it meet? Take our quiz and test your Badger IQ.
