Oldest Lighthouse in America

This is Portland (ME) Head, the lighthouse at entrance to Portland Harbor. It was created in the first financial bill signed by George Washington. Actually located in Cape Elizabeth, it is part of a town owned park open to all. The land around it is part of old Fort William, home to WWI troops. Some gun implacements are still there.
