Christopher Kleinhenz is the Carol Mason Kirk Professor Emeritus of Italian at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he taught Italian literature of the Due- and Trecento, manuscript studies, and art and literature in medieval Italy for almost forty years (1968-2007). He has led numerous trips to Italy and the Mediterranean world for the UW Division of Continuing Studies and the WAA, and is fluent in Italian and very knowledgeable about Italian life and culture. He will provide insights into the history and culture of Italy over the past two millennia.
