Giffin D. Jones, age 98 of Midland, passed away Friday December 30, 2016 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland. The son of the late Flint H. and Olive (Sweet) Jones was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on December 16, 1918.

James Mink passed away peacefully on November 1, 2016 at Rex Hospital following a long and courageous battle with cancer, recent heart attack, and emotional grief over the loss of his beloved wife of 57 years. His wife, Mary Jane Mink, passed away just 5 days prior and he was eager to be reunited in perfect peace with her. He was surrounded by family and friends.
