San Diego Badger Women’s Group

Formed by the Chapter Board in 2018, the San Diego Badger Women's Group is a by-women, for-women group open to all alumnae of the UW. The mission of the Group is to promote networking, education and socialization for Wisconsin alumnae residing in the San Diego area, with the Group developing ideas of raising funds for the Chapter Scholarship Fund, educating each other on the areas of our expertise and assisting fellow Badgers in learning about San Diego.

Holding its first meeting in the Library Dining Room of Prep Kitchen in Little Italy, the Group quickly realized the amazing experiences, backgrounds and stories its members had to share, including alumnae from all ages and hometowns. The Group has developed into a dynamic collective of San Diego alumnae, touching upon the needs and passions of its members as time goes on.

Our Event Schedule

It's up to the Group! Whether it's a family-style dinner or book reading, the happenings of the group winnow with the dynamics of the group. We do aim to meet quarterly to keep in regular touch with each other, and our ongoing meeting location is pending after the sad closure of our former regular meeting spot, Gordon Biersch in Mission Valley.
