October 19:

  • Wisconsin Fish Fry with a special performance by the Squeezettes
    4:30–8:30 p.m. | Memorial Union’s Tripp Commons
  • UW Homecoming Parade
    6 p.m. | State Street and Gilman Street
  • UW Homecoming Block Party
    After the parade | Alumni Park, One Alumni Place, and Memorial Union
    Activities include:

Since 1911, Badgers have been coming back to campus to celebrate their alma mater.

Paying Our Purdues

On October 17, our plucky Badgers will take on Purdue in 2015’s Homecoming game. This will be the 105th edition of Madison’s October classic, and the 83rd meeting between the UW and the Purdue Boilermakers.

Celebrating Homecoming for More Than a Century

On a crisp November weekend in 1911, 3,000 University of Wisconsin alumni met up for what was known as 'smokes and cider' at the gymnasium before heading to Camp Randall to root for the home team, not knowing they were establishing a Badger tradition that would continue strong for over 100 years.
