Mike Mitchell, PhD, MBA — certified professional coach, Center for Professional and Executive Development at the Wisconsin School of Business
Mitchell combines more than 35 years of business experience with a passion for developing executives and organizations. He integrates theory with real-world application and brings relevance to every teaching opportunity. Having held senior-level positions in large corporations, Mitchell understands the reality of organizational life and leader challenges in a wide range of industries.
Innovation is a focus of Mitchell’s career and expertise. Having held critical roles in innovation and consulting assignments for a variety of Fortune 500 companies, Mitchell brings actual experience combined with the perspective of a researcher in the field of innovation. His articles and interviews have appeared in publications such as Forbes, Talent Quarterly, American Marketing Association, The Everyday Innovator Podcast, and Business Journal of America, as well as in academic journals such as the Journal of Innovation and Sustainability.
Mitchell holds a PhD in organizational psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, an MBA from Xavier University, and an Executive Global Marketing Certificate from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
