A Wisconsin dairy farm, Rosy-Lane Holsteins, is the winner of a national award for Outstanding Dairy Farm Sustainability. The ninth annual U.S. Dairy Sustainability Awards were announced on April 22, 2020 in recognition of Earth Day. The Watertown farm is owned by Lloyd BS ’80 and Daphne (Johnson) Holterman BS ’81 and their partners Tim Strobel FISC ’95 ’96 and Jordan Matthews BS ’09 and is one of three national winners in its category.

It was tense walking over Bascom Hill past anti-war students purportedly carrying bricks in their book bags. Don’t recall any damage from throwing bricks.
