The Minerals Metals & Materials Society (TMS) conferred Oscar Marcelo Suarez (Metallurgical Engineering PhD 2000) the 2020 Ellen Swallow Richards Diversity Award for his work in engaging Hispanic students into Materials Science & Engineering.
