Joe Nyiri (83) passed away October 27, 2020. Joe was a teacher/art consultant with the San Diego Unified School District and was an art instructor at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park and at local public libraries for over 45 years. He was represented by Orr’s Gallery in San Diego and exhibited world-wide. He made a name for himself in the local art scene as he created Modernist inventive metal sculptures. He earned a reputation as one of the area’s top sculptors.
Local Artist, Elmer P. Petersen, 91, of Galesville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse.

James Mink passed away peacefully on November 1, 2016 at Rex Hospital following a long and courageous battle with cancer, recent heart attack, and emotional grief over the loss of his beloved wife of 57 years. His wife, Mary Jane Mink, passed away just 5 days prior and he was eager to be reunited in perfect peace with her. He was surrounded by family and friends.
