Sarah Davidson, Harmonious Union Events, Receives Wedding of the Year Award ($50,000-$100,000 Budget) from the National Association for Catering and Events

Harmonious Union Events announced today that it has received the Wedding of the Year award ($50,000-$100,000 budget) from the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE).

Held in conjunction with the 2019 NACE Experience Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio in July, the annual NACE One Awards recognize excellence in the planning and execution of events and celebrations, as well as individual chapter programs and accomplishments.

The winning wedding was a unique and savvy soiree held at Camp Wandawega in Elkhorn, WI during August 2018. There were 130 people in attendance at several intricately planned events spanning from Friday afternoon through Sunday morning. Harmonious Union Events coordinated with vendors throughout Southern Wisconsin for nearly one full year ahead of time to execute the affair. The award highlighted the talent of Sarah Davidson, the owner of the company, for the overall production and execution of the event.

The wedding couple was Victoria Orlandi Hermanny and David Hermanny of Milwaukee. The bride was the wedding’s creative director.

“Harmonious Union Events is among the trendsetters and innovators of our community. Being judged by their peers and receiving the NACE One Award is a testament to their skills and ingenuity” said Ed DiAntonio, CPCE, CMP, President of the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE).

Davidson stated that this award is a huge honor for her small business, which will be five years old in February of next year. “This wedding was one of seven nominees in our category, and up against several other wedding productions from markets all over the country. It was exciting to showcase that our midwestern market can pull off something just as spectacular as what some might expect could only be done in a larger city. The team that came together for this was certainly one of a kind.”
