Pastoral exhibition: Rita Yanny
- Apr. 25, 2018
Eighteen years ago, UW–Madison alumna and visual-arts educator Rita Yanny and her husband first hosted friends as part of an art and cultural exchange with Japanese artists. The original exchange was organized by the Wisconsin Painters and Sculptors (now the Wisconsin Visual Artists). Over the years, one of the couple’s friends, Yuji Kobayashi, and Rita have exhibited together, both in Japan and in Wisconsin.
From April 16-29, 2018, the mixed media art of Yuji and Rita is being featured in a two-person exhibition — Pastoral — at B-gallery in Tokyo, Japan. This featured art was inspired by nature.
