Renee Orlowski Kaufer ’89 appointed vice president of operations at Northwest Center at Amazon
Renee Orlowski Kaufer was recently appointed Vice President of Operations for Northwest Center at Amazon, a social enterprise with all revenue going directly to the mission of advancing equal opportunities for children and adults with disabilities. Renee previously spent 11 years with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and recently accepted this exciting new opportunity. “Amazon’s massive global reach coupled with Northwest Center’s mission of hiring people of all abilities makes for a perfect fit. Amazon is a fabulous organization and is willing to try something new in disability inclusion. By not only accepting nontraditional talent, but actively seeking it out, Amazon has created new job opportunities for people who have often had a hard time gaining full-time or part-time employment.”
