The University of Wisconsin flag flies proudly at the SEED School of Miami, a college-preparatory, public boarding school for disadvantaged students in South Florida, founded by Melanie Damian, a UW ’91 alumna. Ms. Damian, who is active in child advocacy, currently serves as Chair of the Board of the SEED School of Miami.
