U.S. Xpress’ Van de Kamp Named a 2020 Top Woman to Watch in Transportation

Chattanooga, Tenn. (March 30, 2020) – U.S. Xpress Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: USX) the nation’s fifth largest asset-based truckload carrier by revenue, today announced Julie Van de Kamp, vice president of customer experience at U.S. Xpress, was named a 2020 Top Woman to Watch in Transportation by the Women in Trucking Association (WIT). Van de Kamp was nominated by her peers and chosen by the editorial staff of Women in Trucking’s Redefining the Road magazine based upon her career dedication and accomplishments.

“Julie is a skilled innovator and valued team member,” stated Justin Harness, chief revenue office for U.S. Xpress. “She epitomizes what we’re all about – giving our customers the best possible service and experience, and we’re incredibly proud to see her recognized for her achievements.”

WIT acknowledged Van de Kamp’s leadership in successfully identifying the need to and successfully uniting U.S. Xpress’ asset and brokerage divisions under one roof, creating a new customer experience team to super-serve customers.

Van de Kamp has worked for U.S. Xpress for more than 12 years, having previously held roles within the company’s brokerage, pricing, and business development divisions. Since joining U.S. Xpress, she has embodied the company’s customer-first mentality, organizing countless initiatives that harness the power of centralized data and provide more personalized and strategic recommendations for customers.
