Joe Weiland ’86, founding and managing partner, Arlington Financial Advisors, named Who’s Who Banking & Finance by Pacific Coast Business Times

A graduate of University of Wisconsin (1986), Joseph R. Weiland, CFP® is the managing partner of Arlington Financial Advisors in Santa Barbara. He began his expansive career as a financial advisor 30 years ago and has spent the last three decades advising both high net-worth individuals and business owners. Weiland is much more than a financial expert but also a confidante for his clients with a keen ability to offer perspective and advice beyond the numbers. Whether the client is a working through a new partnership agreement, financing a business purchase, or is a couple navigating a divorce, Weiland’s experience has helped people avoid costly mistakes that can cause troubles in the future.

Weiland holds the Certified Financial Planner® designation. In addition to his client responsibilities, Weiland is responsible for developing best practices to employ in managing the firm’s client relationships.

Weiland is past president and currently serves on the board of the Santa Barbara Club. An avid surfer and hiker who personally appreciates Santa Barbara County’s natural spaces, Weiland also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Land Trust for Santa Barbara County and he is an active member and past president of the Sunrise Rotary Club. He and his wife live in Santa Barbara and have two adult children.
